    Schedule for the Orthodontic Financial Coordinator:

    • Monday: 9:30AM-6:00PM

    • Tuesday: 9:00AM-7:00PM

    • Wednesday: 9:00AM - 5:00PM

    • Thursday: 9:0M-5:00PM

    • Friday: 9:30AM-1:00PM (Every other week)

    Responsibilities and Requirements of the Orthodontic Financial Coordinator:

    • Billing experience required.

    • Dental Billing experience preferred, not required.

    • Oversee Reception area during patient presence.

    • Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and helpful manner.

    • Confirm appointments with patients via phone call, email, and text message.

    • Provide guidance to the patient during the check-in and check-out process.

    • Follow up with patients after coming in for their appointment.

    • Handle new patient calls and referrals from dentists.

    • Handle claim creation, AR, deposits, and EOD/EOM reconciliation.

    • Verify insurance coverage and estimate patient costs.

    • Generate and manage patient invoices efficiently.

    • Code procedures for maximum reimbursement.

    • Post payments, reconcile accounts, and provide financial counseling.

    • Communicate effectively with patients regarding billing inquiries.

    • Maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with regulations.

    • Manage accounts receivable to minimize outstanding patient balances.

    • Stay updated on industry regulations through ongoing education.

    • Actively participate in staff and committee meetings.

    • Assist with additional tasks assigned by the doctor.

    • Foster a cohesive team environment with trust and respect.

    • Monitor email inbox and track patient reports.

    • Possess strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
