FOH is the largest provider of occupational health services in the federal government, serving more than 300 federal agencies and reaching 800,000 federal employees. STG International is seeking a Orthopedic Surgeon to perform medical review work to provide consultation and guidance to the Department of Labor (DOL) for a variety of workers’ compensation cases. Each physician will receive work on a case by case basis and will be compensated for their work at an hourly rate for time spent performing the reviews. Estimated cases per month is 10 with estimated average time for case completion is one hour. Work will be performed remotely (outside of DOL facilities) at FOH offices or from the physician’s home/office and will require use of a web-based DOL health IT system.

Physician Requirements:
Physicians eligible to perform the work must maintain the following credentials and meet the following requirements specified by DOL and FOH:
1. Current license
2. Board Certification in practicing specialty
3. Must maintain active clinical practice (separate from work for DOL) defined as a minimum of 240 hours direct patient care per year
4. Proof of active clinical practice must include address and telephone number of current practice
5. Physicians who are employed by, under contract to, or regularly associate with other (non-DOL) Federal agencies regarding workers’ compensation claims or fitness for duty exams of employees are disqualified.
Two years experience clinical practice required.
