    Job Description:

    We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and creative Kitchen Designer & Field Measurement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting field measurements at client locations, reviewing the original designs sold by the sales team, and making adjustments based on accurate field data. You will redesign the kitchen layouts, communicate with clients about any necessary changes, and create detailed construction plans using InDesign. This role involves a combination of fieldwork, design, and client interaction, ensuring that the final design meets both functional and aesthetic standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Field Measurements: Conduct accurate and detailed field measurements at client locations to ensure that designs are based on real-world dimensions and conditions.

    Review Original Design: Analyze the initial kitchen designs created by the sales team, ensuring all specifications align with the field measurements and client needs.

    Redesign Kitchen Layout: Modify or redesign the kitchen layout based on the measurements and site-specific considerations, optimizing space, functionality, and design.

    Client Communication: Liaise with clients to explain design changes, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction with the new layout and proposed changes. Address any concerns or adjustments requested by the client.

    Construction Planning & Design: Use InDesign software to develop detailed plans for kitchen construction, including cabinetry design, layout, sizes, and material selection.

    Collaboration with Sales & Installation Teams: Work closely with the sales team to understand client expectations and provide clear design instructions to the installation team for seamless execution.

    Documentation: Create and maintain clear and accurate design records, field measurements, revisions, and client communications for future reference.

    Stay Current with Design Trends: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in outdoor kitchen design, cabinetry, and construction techniques to offer clients innovative solutions.

    Qualifications:

    Strong proficiency in drafting, including InDesign or other design software for creating detailed construction plans.

    Experience in field measurement.

    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients, sales teams, and installation staff.

    Knowledge of cabinetry design, construction, and layout principles.

    Ability to problem-solve and think creatively when making design adjustments.

    Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

    Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

    A background in architecture, design, or construction is preferred.

    Education and Experience:

    Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).

    Previous experience in construction, kitchen design, cabinetry, or a similar role is highly desirable.
