About Us
At Surface Experts, we provide an innovative service tailored to construction, hotels, and property management companies, and we need a proactive, results-driven sales professional to educate clients and prospects about the value we bring. This is an in-person, boots-on-the-ground role. You’ll be meeting clients daily, walking through units, inspecting properties, and getting a firsthand look at the clients and prospects we support. If you're comfortable in construction environments, can navigate stairs and walk units with ease, and are excited to take on a challenging and rewarding sales role, then we want you on our team!
Key Responsibilties
Educate Clients In-Person:** You will meet with clients on-site to introduce and explain our service offering, helping them realize how our services will improve their business operations and bottom line.
Walk Units & Construction Sites:** As part of your daily routine, you will be expected to physically walk units, and construction sites, and assess the needs of clients in person. This may involve going up and down stairs and walking through construction areas.
Follow a Sales Script:** While you're on-site with clients, you’ll follow a structured sales script to ensure consistent messaging and clear communication about our service.
Daily Client Meetings:** Meet face-to-face with potential and existing clients every day—whether it's walking through construction projects, attending site meetings, or visiting property and maintenance managers on-site.
Build Relationships:** Develop trust and long-term relationships by providing solutions tailored to each client's specific needs.
Close Sales:** You will be expected to have a solid Sales Plan, develop a strong pipeline, and work with company management to meet the forecast and ensure our technicians are fully booked in delivering our services. You will also be expected to manage the sales cycle from initial contact to closing, ensuring you meet or exceed sales targets.
Collaboration:** Work closely with our internal teams to ensure successful service delivery and client satisfaction after the sale.
Market Awareness:** Stay up to date with industry trends, construction project developments, and competitor activity.
What We're Looking For:
Proven outside sales experience. If you have experience in and/or knowledge and understanding of the hospitality, construction or multi-family industries that’s a bonus.
Willingness to meet clients in person every day—this is not a virtual job.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating with a supportive team.
Ability to follow a structured sales process and script to drive results.
