    Ellie Mental Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As a Mental Health Specialist, you will be responsible for providing individual counseling services to clients facing mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychology or a related field, with experience in assessing, diagnosing, and developing treatment plans for clients. Strong communication skills, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach are essential for success in this role. Mental Health Therapist reports directly to the assigned supervisor with overall program supervision provided by Clinic Director.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education/Licensure

    · Master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university

    · Candidates should ideally have clinical licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW, LPC-IT etc.)

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy

    Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community

    Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals

    Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol

    For Full-Time status clinicians must maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week

    Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed

    Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings

    Work Experience Requirements:

    · Current resident of the state of Wisconsin

    · Valid driver's License and Insurance maintained throughout employment.

    · Performs a range of clinical services including accurate assessments therapy/counseling, support and to evaluate mental health and/or co-occurring issues in a culturally competent, recovery oriented, trauma sensitive manner

    · Provide direct Care Coordination services to consumers in partnership with the community partner

    · Attends regular team meetings and participate in clinical case discussions

    · Maintains minimum direct service hour expectations

    · Represent the clinic and its mission and values to other agencies and the public
