    Ellie Mental Health RVA West End is hiring an Outpatient Mental Health Therapist! Come be a part of a growing team that is working to break down barriers to mental health care in our community. The goal of our clinic is to beat industry workplace standards, we want our therapists to feel relaxed and less stressed in managing caseloads. Caseload requirement are usually less than industry standards and this position is hybrid with the option to work remote and in the office. Lets figure out how to tackle therapy together, reducing the amount of administrative aspects of care at the bare minimum.

    Responsibilities include:

    Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation

    Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community

    Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals

    Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed

    Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings

    Other stuff we probably forgot to add but just as meaningful and important to your role ;)

    Required Qualifications and Skills:

    Master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields

    Candidates who are soon to be licensed (pre-licensed) or hold a clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT etc.)

    Required experience with completing, diagnostic assessments, treatment plans and clinical case notes

    Passion for topics such as, but not limited to: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), BIPOC population, humanistic therapy, gender identity and sexual orientation, play therapy, art therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, group therapy, couples, therapy and any other modalities that you feel comfortable with!

    Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients

    Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus!)

    Fully Licensed Clinicians will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels.
