The Primary Therapist will report to Clinical Supervisor.
The Primary Therapist performs biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning and level of care assessments (ASAM). Participates in treatment meetings, consultations and coordination of care with multidisciplinary team. Provides individual and group therapy. Facilitates family psychoeducation and sessions as needed. Completes performance outcome measures.
The Primary Therapist is responsible for ensuring that the needs of the patients are met in accordance with the center’s policies and procedures, federal and state regulations and applicable standards of care.
Qualifications:
Current Florida License Preferred – Licensed Psychologist, LMHC, LFMT, or LCSW; Registered interns will be considered based on experience
Master's or PsyD
1+ years' experience, specifically working in substance use
MAT experience preferred
Self-motivated and has good time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent computer skills and use of EMR
Ability to pass local and Level II background checks
Ability to follow protocols to ensure safety and security within a detention center
Proficiency in English and Spanish preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 /year
