Job Summary

We are seeking motivated and outgoing Solar Sales Consultants to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will educate homeowners about the benefits of solar energy, guide them through the sales process, and provide an outstanding customer experience from first contact to signed agreement. Whether you’re engaging with potential customers in person or virtually, you’ll play a key role in helping families save money while making a positive environmental impact.

Responsibilities

• Engage with potential customers, both in person (door-to-door or events) and virtually, to introduce the benefits of solar energy.

• Provide expert consultation, assessing each customer’s energy needs to offer tailored solar solutions.

• Present and explain solar proposals, addressing questions and concerns with confidence and clarity.

• Guide customers through the entire sales process—from initial consultation to signed agreements.

• Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs.

• Participate in regular training to stay informed about solar products, technology, and industry best practices.

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and proposals in the CRM system.

• Represent the company professionally, building trust and rapport within your territory or community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (college degree a plus).

• Previous sales or customer service experience preferred but not required.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong work ethic, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.

• Ability to absorb and apply ongoing training on sales techniques and product knowledge.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.

• Team player mentality with a passion for helping people and making a difference.

• Reliable transportation (for field sales roles).
