About the Job (Account Executive)
AEI Corporation seeks a competitive Account Executive to develop sales strategies and attract new clients in the Multifamily Marketplace. The successful salesperson will source new sales opportunities and close leads. This ambitious candidate will be key in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, and managing sales of commercial grills and outdoor heaters. Must be analytical and understand or learn basic concepts of gas and electric appliances.
Responsibilities
· Build from an established customer base territory covering Southern California and seven western states.
· Generate sales growth by using various customer sales methods: prospecting, giving presentations, networking, and data research.
· Forecast sales, develop “progressive” sales strategies/models, and evaluate their effectiveness.
· Create and implement a detailed business plan to facilitate meeting goals.
· Meet personal and team sales targets.
· Research accounts to generate and follow through sales leads.
· Attend meetings, trade shows, sales events, and training to keep abreast of the latest developments in our industry.
· Report and provide feedback to management using financial and statistical data.
· Maintain and expand the client database within your marketplace.
· Prioritizing time management and organizational skills in your daily activities.
· Adeptly evaluate customers’ needs and build long-lasting, productive relationships.
Requirements
· Thrives on autonomy and working from a home office.
· Highly motivated and target-driven.
· Fundamentally resilient with experience and a proven track record in sales.
· Candidate is a self-starter with excellent time management and goal-setting skills.
· Know Market Research, Sales, and negotiating principles.
· Proficient knowledge of MS Office.
· Familiarity with CRM practices and the ability to build productive professional business relationships.
· Versed in reading Technical Drawings and Space Planning, a plus but not a requirement.
Qualifications
· Experience in the full sales cycle, including deal closing, and demonstrated sales success.
· Available for limited overnight business travel for prospecting, customer meetings, sales events, and trade shows. (25+ travel days per year).
· Strong negotiation skills and a high sense of urgency.
· Must possess strong communication skills (written and verbal) and presentation Skills.
· BS in Marketing or Business Administration or certifications in Sales techniques is a plus but not a requirement.
Compensation
· Base + Commission ($80K to $100K) potential
