Position: Outside Loan Originator (Outside LO)
Location: New Jersey & Surrounding Markets
As an Outside Loan Originator, you will play a vital role in originating real estate mortgage loans while cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with referral partners and clients. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain referral relationships with real estate professionals and community partners
Generate mortgage leads and convert them into closed transactions
Conduct client consultations to assess financial needs and present appropriate loan solutions
Prepare complete and accurate loan applications with required documentation
Coordinate with processing and underwriting to ensure timely, efficient closings
Participate in networking events, open houses, and educational seminars to increase visibility
Maintain communication with clients and partners to deliver an exceptional experience
Qualifications:
Active NMLS License, required under the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008
In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, programs, and underwriting guidelines
Proven ability to generate self-sourced business and build strong referral networks
Strong analytical skills to assess creditworthiness and market opportunities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Encompass experience preferred
