Responsibilities: • Pinpoint and overcome potential obstacles such as competition, pain points, budgets, and timelines by qualifying your prospective customers quickly and thoroughly • Close the deal after creating, presenting, and negotiating a solution to your prospects • Meet or surpass the monthly quota for sold business and lead requirements/ revenue-generating activities • Stay on top of market and industry trends to help educate prospects and clients on how we differentiate ourselves • Use your prospecting and follow-up skills with potential customers online, in-person, or on the phone to uncover potential upsells and new clients • Secure new deals and target buyers quickly, give them the information they need to envision our brand, and close deals efficiently • Present a win-win solution for the prospect, negotiate sales contract specifics, and close deals • Initiate outgoing cold calling and emailing to potential customers, schedule in-person sales appointments, and follow up on client requests for information • Position us as the clear and obvious choice in our market through competitive analysis and product trends • Grow and maintain customer relationships • Attend expos and events (golf events, Padres games, happy hours) • Company sales meetings • Follow all company outside sales representative duties • Set appointments • Sales talk and objection handler mastery Qualifications: • At least 2 years of outside sales experience preferred • Proven track record in sales • You are an organized, detail and deadline-oriented self-starter who loves contributing your team’s goals • High school or equivalent diploma required; industry or product knowledge preferred • You love talking and meeting with prospects, presenting to them, closing the deal, and asking for referrals • 2 years of outside sales experience or related marketing experience • Team-focused, organized, and self-starter with an orientation toward service, detail, problem-solving, and deadlines • Proven track record in sales • Great communication • A high school diploma is required, and some industry or product knowledge preferred • Exceptional negotiating, interpersonal, presentation, persuasion, and communication skills • 21 years of age or older • Goal oriented • Self-starter • Good first impression with people • Teamwork experience Compensation: $65,000 - $120,000 base salary + commissions
