Job Summary Since 1984, Initial Impact has been helping businesses keep their name and brand message out in front of their clients with custom logoed apparel and imprinted promotional products. We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Outside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will generate leads, attract new clients, and close deals. Your responsibilities will include building rapport with new and existing customers, evaluating their needs, and negotiating successful deals. The ideal candidate has an outgoing personality, exceptional customer service and communication skills, and a strong desire to close deals.
Responsibilities
Identify potential customers through networking, lead follow up, phone calls, emails and other sales efforts
Develop rapport and build relationships with existing and potential customers
Present products and services with a clear and compelling selling message in order to close sales and encourage long-term commitments
Promptly submit purchase orders to relevant company department
Follow-up with customers to ensure purchased products met or exceeded their expectations
Keep accurate and detailed records of sales activities, pipelines and potential customers
Write proposals designed to present solutions and obtain purchase orders
Qualifications
Promotional products industry or similar experience preferred
Previous outside sales experience preferred
Willingness to commit to equitable time to achieve results
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A positive attitude and effective presentation skills
