Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Outside Sales Representative to join our team based in Denver, Colorado but covering the entire state. In this role, you will generate leads, attract new clients, and close deals. Your responsibilities will include creating and submitting sales reports, building rapport with new and existing customers within your territory, evaluating their needs, and negotiating successful deals. The ideal candidate has an outgoing personality, exceptional customer service and negotiation skills, and a strong desire to close deals. This role will also require helping with field operations from time to time.
Who we are: We are a doorstep/valet trash company founded in 2016 in North Carolina that has quickly grown to service more than 125,000 units per night. We provide custom solutions to multifamily communities for 5, 6 or 7 day doorstep waste and recycling and are looking to rapidly expand our footprint in the Colorado market.
Responsibilities:
Develop rapport and build relationships with existing and potential customers
Travel to appointments and meetings with potential and existing customers within your territory
Attend industry events such as apartment association meetings and trade shows
Perform up to 50 site visits per week to engage with new business
Meet or exceed designated sales targets
Document all leads, sales, and customer interactions in customer relationship management (CRM) program Salesforce
Use best practices in negotiation and sales techniques to close sales
Work directly with sales directors to achieve goals
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
Previous experience in outside sales
Excellent negotiation and customer service skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A positive attitude and ability to be persistent
CRM/Salesforce experience preferred
Multi-family experience preferred
