    Job Title: Outside Sales Representative – Building Materials

    Location: Northeast Missouri / Quincy, IL region (based around Hannibal, MO, with support for Keokuk, IA, and Marshall, MO)

You're someone who takes initiative, builds strong relationships easily, and isn't afraid to pick up the phone or knock on a door to create new opportunities.

    You prefer not to be stuck behind a desk and enjoy being out in the field — visiting job sites, shaking hands, and developing relationships with contractors where they work. The added bonus? This sales territory is small and well-connected, so you’ll be home for dinner and sleep in your own bed every night.

    About Us: We’re a family-owned, multi-location building materials supplier with a reputation for serving contractors and serious DIYers with integrity and reliability. With operations across northeast Missouri, Iowa, and Kansas, we’re growing into new markets — and we’re looking for a driven, relationship-focused sales professional to help us lead that expansion.

    What You’ll Do:

    Build and grow sales in the Quincy, Illinois area as well as Hannibal, Missouri and Keokuk, Iowa along with other nearby towns and counties

    Develop long-term relationships with contractors, builders, remodelers, and project managers

    Conduct in-person visits, site walkthroughs, and product presentations

    Collaborate closely with inside sales and yard teams at Hannibal, Keokuk, and Marshall to ensure a seamless customer experience

    Track leads, quotes, and customer activity

    Report regularly on territory progress, obstacles, and opportunities

    What We’re Looking For:

    2+ years of B2B sales experience (building materials or construction background a major plus)

    Strong people skills and the ability to earn trust quickly

    Highly motivated, organized, and goal-oriented

    Comfortable traveling throughout the region and managing a focused territory

    Capable of working independently while staying aligned with company goals

    Compensation & Benefits:

    Base salary: $55,000–$70,000 depending on experience

    Commission and performance bonuses: with potential total compensation ranging from $80,000 to over $120,000 annually, based on results. We don’t cap commissions. As your sales grow, so does your compensation.
