Base salary with generous upside commission Average sale of $4,000-$6,000 Average close rate of 50%+ Responsibilities: • Conduct 1 to 4 sales appointments daily, showcasing and selling custom window treatments to high-end residential and commercial clients in Raleigh, NC. • Rotate through 1-2 Saturday shifts per month at the showroom from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. • Provide exceptional customer service and expert design advice, including measuring windows accurately for custom solutions. • Utilize multiple platforms for quoting, complete digital proposals using CRM, and ensure accurate reporting to the installation team. • Respond promptly to emails and phone calls, documenting all sales communications and following up on leads until closure. • Stay updated on custom window treatment trends and product changes by participating in vendor training sessions. • Self-report individual performance metrics, contribute to weekly team meetings, and engage in periodic training sessions. • Travel to clients' homes and business locations in the Triangle area to establish connections, demonstrate products, offer recommendations, and assist with product selection. • Receive warm leads and self-generate additional leads for optimal performance, with a focus on cultivating personal relationships to enhance sales. Qualifications: • The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in residential sales within a related industry. • A clean driving record and personal record are essential qualifications for this role. A large enough vehicle for a step ladder and sample books is required. • Excellent written communication skills are a must-have for effective correspondence. • Strong mathematical abilities are required for tasks such as measurements and quoting. • The ability to climb stairs and lift up to 20 lbs is necessary for this position. • Being at ease working on a ladder up to 6 feet high is a key qualification. • Experience with window coverings or general construction is considered a plus for this role. • A company laptop is provided; however, a working cell phone is a requirement with a large enough data plan to use company applications.
