Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to support the opening of our first “branch” location in Dallas. In this role, you will be an essential part of establishing and growing the brand in the region. You will be responsible for selling the suite of environmental rental equipment and supplies to engineering firms, environmental consulting firms, and other relevant industry customers. This is a full-time, individual contributor position that reports into the General Manager. It requires a strong sales acumen, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to work independently to meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within the Dallas region, focusing on engineering firms and environmental consulting companies.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with new and existing clients to drive revenue growth and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Provide clients with tailored recommendations for environmental rental equipment and supplies based on their specific project needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and logistics, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer support.
- Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and proposals to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing, ensuring competitive yet profitable deals.
- Attend industry-related events, conferences, and trade shows to represent the company and generate new business leads.
- Track sales activities and progress in CRM, maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer records.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals and performance metrics.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in outside sales, with a strong focus on selling to engineering firms, environmental consultants, or related industries.
- Proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Deep understanding of environmental equipment and supplies, with the ability to effectively communicate their benefits and value to customers.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of an organization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to travel within the Dallas region and attend occasional out-of-town events.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with environmental consulting firms or engineering services in a sales capacity.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations, compliance standards, and related equipment needs.
