DPF Alternatives Outside Sales Representative
Are you looking for a career change? This is a full-time, permanent position with excellent income potential, exceptional work-life balance, and room to grow within the organization. This position is geared towards sales/customer service minded individuals who want to be involved growing our DFW franchise. DPF Alternatives is expanding its nationwide footprint every day and we are looking to add a sales role in our DFW metroplex. DPF Alternatives offers industry leading cleaning techniques for all diesel engine aftertreatment system components but sets itself apart from the competition with ultra-sonic Diesel Particulate Filter cleaning and offering a lifetime warranty on the service. DPF Alternatives is one of the fastest growing franchises across the country and the local franchisee has opened four locations, Dallas, Fort Worth, Corpus Christi, and Houston during 2022. More locations will be added in both the Houston and Dallas/Fort Worth metro areas over the next year or two. All current locations outside sales staff are employees with various backgrounds (engineering, management, general manager, etc.) who made a career change for better work-life balance, good work culture, and the opportunity to help build and grow not only the company but their careers as well.
This role pays a base salary, as well as an uncapped commission. The outside sales representative is responsible for promoting the industry-leading services, answering customer questions, and offer solutions to drive sales. A reliable vehicle and good driving record are required. DPF Alternatives will provide both introductory and ongoing sales training along with all the tools to succeed. You will have a guaranteed base salary, uncapped commission, a company vehicle, and company fuel card.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
· Present DPF Alternatives industry leading services to both prospective and existing customers
· Prospect and contact potential customers throughout the assigned territory
· Meet or exceed sales goals set by DPF Alternatives management
· Answer and resolve customer inquiries and offer solutions
· Educate end users, service centers, and fleets on proper care for diesel aftertreatment systems
· Follow up with customers after services rendered to verify customer satisfaction and ask for reviews
· Provide support in facilitating and attending local events where DPF Alternatives will be represented
· Mastering CRM tools to update, oversee, and maintain reports
· Always representing DPF Alternatives to prospective customers in a respectful and ethical manner, and creating referral partners
· Adhere to all Company standard procedures, policies, and safety practices in the course of performing work activities.
· Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
· High School diploma or GED
· Strong communication skills
· Willingness to learn
· No outside sales experience necessary, will conduct on the job training if needed
· Familiarity with CRM platforms a plus
· Skills on computer-based platforms a plus, will be taught if necessary
· Bilingual a plus
· Experience with Heavy Duty Diesel Equipment Industry a plus but not required
Working Conditions
· Must be able to sustain long periods of time on your feet. Must be physically able to spend much of your day driving to potential DPF Alternatives customers.
· Candidate must be able to manage time and be regimented in an autonomous position.
· Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions.
· Daily travel within the Company’s geographical footprint is required.
· Must provide own vehicle (unless driving a company vehicle), have a good driving record, and maintain level of vehicle insurance required by DPF Alternatives.
