As a key player on our team, you’ll help homeowners protect their homes by educating them about our pest control services and signing up new customers through direct, in-person sales.

    Key Responsibilities

    Prospect & Engage: Canvass designated neighborhoods in the Greater Portland metro area and engage directly with homeowners. Promote Prime Pest Solutions’ pest control plans by educating residents on how we can protect their homes.

    Present Solutions: Clearly communicate the features and benefits of our quarterly service plans and specialty pest treatments. Tailor your pitch to each homeowner’s needs and concerns.

    Overcome Objections: Confidently answer questions and address concerns. Use your product knowledge and people skills to overcome objections in a professional, honest manner.

    Close Deals: Close sales on the spot by signing up new customers and scheduling their first service appointment. Celebrate each new customer you bring on board!

    Track & Report: Keep track of your daily leads, interactions, and sales. Report your progress to the team – we’ll celebrate your successes and help you improve where needed.

    Customer Service: Always maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude. As the face of our company, provide a friendly and trustworthy experience that reflects our values of integrity and quality service.

    Qualifications

    Drive & Motivation: A competitive, self-motivated mindset – you set goals and push yourself to meet or exceed sales targets. If you love a challenge and take initiative, you’ll fit right in.

    People Skills: Strong communication and persuasion abilities. You’re comfortable starting conversations with strangers, listening to their needs, and building rapport face-to-face.

    Coachability: No experience required – but you must be eager to learn. We need team members who are coachable, adaptable, and open to feedback to sharpen their sales techniques.

    Outdoor Readiness: Comfortable working outdoors, walking for extended periods in various weather conditions. (Think of this as getting your steps in while you work!)

    Independence & Integrity: Able to work independently and manage your time without constant supervision, all while following our proven sales strategies. A strong sense of integrity is a must – we expect you to represent our company with honesty and professionalism at all times.

    Experience: Prior door-to-door or outside sales experience is a plus, but not required. Whether you’re a seasoned sales pro or looking to start your sales career, we want to hear from you if you have the drive to succeed.
