    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • This position will responsible and accountable for the sales and marketing performance of that region.
    • Develops and assists in all aspects of the sales, marketing, and development plans pertaining to the region.
    • Make sales calls and interacts, on the phone, in person, and other means to both new and existing customers as required.
    • Capable of identifying market opportunities in various industries by means of research and planning.
    • Builds new and existing customer relationships through effective communication, responsiveness, trust, and integrity.
    • Develops and maintains a high level of rapport with customers to build and foster trust.
    • Assists in development and performs marketing support promoting company brand and culture.
    • Participates in industry trade shows and professional organizations, presenting and promoting the company brand.
    • Capable of working independently with passion, industry knowledge, focus, and integrity.
    • Provides exemplary service to the customer throughout the process, including proposal development based on customer needs through final report review and planning after project completion.
    • Develops project proposals and quotes based on customer requests, including: collecting customer information, proposals development/writing, documentation of scope, solution research/investigations, and short/long term needs/plans.
    • Consistent follow through and follow up with customers.
    • Promotes the company’s culture as a great place to work for all team members.
    • Protects Premier’s integrity and value by keeping information confidential as required.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities ** :**

    • Knowledge of the sales process, and long-term customer development. Understands the concept of what “the Customer Experience” is and works to exceed expectations.
    • Basic knowledge and understanding of various electrical systems from 480v through 765kV; including generation, transmission and distribution theory, uninterruptable power supplies, renewable, and emerging energies.
    • Ability to develop personal sales plans with the assistance of management to successfully meet sales objectives.
    • Knowledge, ability, and skill that includes professional technical sales to all levels of customers from unknowledgeable to experts in the electrical field.
    • Possess a desire to continue to learn and grow in the energy sector and adapt to emerging customer needs as necessary.
    • Strong organizational, communications, presentation, and problem-solving skills are a must.
    • Ability to listen to understand the customer, analyze customer needs, and develop a solution independently or with the assistance of others that meets or exceeds their needs.
    • Ability to effectively respond to customer needs and concerns.
    • Ability to organize, prioritize, plan their personal work, review their accomplishments, successes, deficiencies, adjust as necessary, and meet customer goals, personal goals, and deadlines.
    • Ability to work independently and in conjunction with others in a professional manner.
    • Ability to identify potential customers, including research and cold calling, if necessary, to reach the decision maker responsible for the maintenance of the electrical infrastructure at a given location.
    • Must have intermediate level computer understanding and skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and basic business systems.
    • Communicates effectively, in writing and verbally, with customers, peers, and management.

    Work Environment:

    • Must be willing to relocate within 60 miles of the hiring regional office.
    • Work in close, but safe, proximity to live electrical substations.
    • Blend of office work with Region Operations Manager, remote work, and customer visits is expected.
    • Some, but minimal, overnight travel will be required.
    • Must be willing to take calls and travel outside the scope of normal business hours.

    Education and Work Experience:

    • Basic knowledge of specialized equipment and diagnostic test techniques for commissioning, maintaining, servicing, and testing electrical distribution equipment is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
    • Prefer successful electrical service sales experience with history of technical service and knowledge of the testing industry.
    • Ability to achieve NETA level II within 24 months of employment.
    • At least 3 years of sales experience in electrical industrial; construction, maintenance, testing, commissioning, and/or repair.

    Other Requirements:

    • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check, education verification, and motor vehicle report.
    • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test, as well as periodic, unannounced random testing.
    • Must have a valid driver’s license.
    • Must be willing to obtain a company paid TWIC card, OSHA 10/30 hour, MSHA, NFPA 70E, and CPR training.
