    Job Purpose

    Superior Fence & Rail is an industry leader with multiple branch locations across the USA, partnering with a national home improvement chain, home builders, and general contractors to meet their fence installation needs. As part of our dynamic team, you’ll be expected to learn and adopt Superior Fence & Rail's structured selling process while collaborating closely with your colleagues to ensure success.

    As a Sales Representative, you will present and sell the features and benefits of our high-quality fencing products. You'll be responsible for prospecting new customers through networking, referrals, and follow-up, all while setting and maintaining the required number of appointments to meet or exceed your sales goals. Your individual success is crucial to the team’s overall growth, and you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to a collaborative environment that encourages shared achievements and continuous improvement.

    This role offers the chance for significant earning potential, with compensation largely tied to your individual performance. Average compensation is between $75K to $110K per year. A laptop and phone will be provided after 90 days, and a vehicle and gas card will be provided after approximately 120-180 days, enabling you to work efficiently and effectively in your sales role.

    Primary Responsibilities

    Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.

    Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business, generating leads and assigned leads.

    Organize, plan, and prioritize sales calls and appointments.

    Make outbound calls to set appointments with prospective clients.

    Utilize marking tools to drive new business development.

    Develop expertise in product knowledge, technical knowledge, industry and process knowledge in relevant product areas.

    Maintain a thorough understanding of the marketplace, competitors, and industry trends in order to identify new business and marketing opportunities.

    Using our proprietary software to produce and send quotes within 24 hours of inspection for customers.

    Create and maintain a product marketing plan for increasing sales and revenue.

    Work with team leaders to understand, explain and analyze client requests and requirements.

    Address potential client queries in a timely and professional manner.

    Perform product demonstrations for both prospective clients and existing clients as needed.

    Perform basic record keeping and data entry to ensure proper tracking of sales and client needs/inquiries.

    Perform other duties as assigned.

    Experience and Education - I removed college because it is a barrier for young enthusiastic women and men that are interested in the sales role that haven't completed college or are looking for a career and are not interested in college. The best sales reps I have seen don't have college degrees and started straight after high school.

    Previous experience in the fencing industry a definite plus
