    We're looking for a driven and motivated area sales manager to join our fast-paced team. You will bring exceptional sales skills to drive new business while also developing relationships with existing clients in the Rensselaer and surrounding areas. You’ll need outstanding communication skills to prospect new customers through referrals and networking. Our ideal candidate is a dynamic and creative thinker with experience developing strategies to exceed sales targets and profit margins. Responsibilities: • Use our proven system to create a self-sustaining referral stream for life • Keep a list of important clients up to date to ensure the ongoing development of relationships • Generate new business, close deals, and increase revenue by cold calling, on-site visits and sales tours, and community networking • Motivate the sales team to meet or exceed established monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and profit margin targets • Analyze local market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads Qualifications: • Previous experience in direct sales, outside sales, or business-to-business sales preferred but not required • Ability to work independently and manage your own time • Active insurance license or willingness and ability to obtain upon hire • Deadlines and details motivate you to provide exceptional customer service to your prospects, clients, and team alike • Stellar communication, presentation, persuasion, interpersonal, and negotiating skills Compensation: $80,000 at plan commission
