Our client, a leader in Environmental Construction is searching for an Outside Sales Specialist to join their onsite team in Milltown, NJ.
The Outside Sales Specialist will be responsible for promoting and selling sustainable solutions, environmental services, or eco-friendly products to businesses and consumers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainability, strong sales skills, and the ability to build relationships with clients who are looking for green solutions.
Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in the environmental sector.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients, businesses, and stakeholders interested in eco-friendly solutions.
Conduct outreach efforts, cold calls, and networking to generate leads.
Educate potential customers on the benefits of sustainable products, environmental services, or compliance solutions.
Assess client needs and recommend customized solutions based on sustainability goals.
Provide product demonstrations, sales presentations, and proposals.
Stay up to date with industry trends, environmental regulations, and green technologies.
Monitor competitor activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales materials, campaigns, and outreach programs.
Ensure excellent customer service and follow-up to maintain long-term partnerships.
Gather customer feedback to improve products and services.
Travel up to 30% during the week to customer sites. Will report to the office in Milltown when not in the field.
Qualifications:
2+ years in sales, business development, or environmental consulting,
Understanding of environmental products, sustainability practices, or regulatory compliance
Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing abilities
Familiarity with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital sales tools
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Business, Marketing, or a related field
Experience in B2B sales, sustainability consulting, or renewable energy solutions
