Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Outside Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will generate leads, attract new clients, and close deals. Mostly this will be developing and cultivating relationships with builders and remodelers in the Tallahassee area. Additionally it will include attending networking groups, which will likely lead to some individual retail sales as well, which will also have a commision tied to them. Your responsibilities will include creating and submitting sales reports, building rapport with new and existing customers within the Tallahassee area, evaluating their needs, and negotiating successful deals. The ideal candidate has an outgoing personality, exceptional customer service and negotiation skills, and a strong desire to close deals.
Responsibilities
Develop rapport and build relationships with existing and potential customers
Travel to appointments and meetings with potential and existing customers within your territory
Meet or exceed designated sales targets
Create and implement an effective sales strategy
Document all leads, sales, and customer interactions in customer relationship management (CRM) program
Use best practices in negotiation and sales techniques to close sales
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
Previous experience in outside sales
Excellent negotiation and customer service skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A positive attitude and ability to be persistent
Experience in the cabinetry or at least construction industry is useful, but not required
