Gemstone Senior Living is dedicated to providing compassionate and professional care to individuals who require assistance, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Overnight Caregivers to join our team and help make a difference in the lives of our clients. Must be able to work with teammates to change residents overnight.

As an Overnight Caregiver, you will provide attentive and personalized care to our residents during nighttime hours. Your primary goal will be to ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of our clients while offering companionship and support for their daily needs. This is an ideal position for individuals who are compassionate, responsible, and have a genuine desire to help others.You will be responsible for handing out any medications if necessary to any resident.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care assistance, grooming, dressing, toileting.
- Monitor clients' safety and health throughout the night, including regular check-ins and responding to any emergencies calls.
- Assist clients with medication reminders and administration as instructed by medical professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including light housekeeping tasks such as tidying up and laundry.
- Document daily care activities, any changes in clients’ conditions, and communicate effectively with management.
- Respect the privacy and dignity of clients, adhering to confidentiality agreements and procedures.
- Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required to improve skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent;
- Previous experience in caregiving, personal care assistance, or related fields preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients effectively.
- Compassionate, patient, and understanding with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work independently and responsibly during overnight hours.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license may be required.
- Background check and CPR/First Aid certification required.
