    Job Description

    PURPOSE OF POSITION: __ Under the direction of the Senior Digital Marketing and Fundraising Manager, implement digital fundraising strategies with the goal of converting prospective donors and retaining current donors to raise revenue for Oxfam America, Oxfam America Action Fund, and humanitarian emergencies. Use approved email copy to build fundraising email appeals, manage donation forms, and provide fundraising production support as needed.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Set up digital fundraising forms on Oxfam websites ensuring tracking, fund codes, and appeal codes are applied for proper financial and performance tracking; ensure donation forms deliver the intended messaging and offers to the correct audiences and provide quality assurance on forms.
    • Set up all approved fundraising and cultivation email messages including implementing conditional content for specific audience segments to ensure Oxfam supporters receive personized experiences.
    • Run quality assurance on outgoing Oxfam advocacy email messages and forms.
    • Set up and track all A/B email fundraising and cultivation tests with a goal of optimizing open, click, conversion rates, and average gifts.
    • Ensure all donation forms and email appeals are optimized for user experience, analytic tracking, and properly reviewed for quality assurance.
    • Ensure all email appeals are sent to proper audience segments.
    • Create digital fundraising, advocacy, and survey forms as needed on Oxfam websites to support email marketing automations.
    • Occasionally write email messages as needed for current Oxfam supporters.
    • Create fundraising and advocacy promotions, lightboxes, and other engagement components on Oxfam websites.
    • Coordinate with Public Engagement, Resource Development, and other digital team members to ensure effective implementation of digital strategies across channels.
    • As needed, track data related to digital fundraising efforts to assist in performance analysis and reporting.
    • Assist in other digital team tasks as needed to raise awareness about Oxfam America, our issues, and campaigns and engage supporters in our work.

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
    • 1-3 years of digital marketing, fundraising, and/or e-commerce experience with a proven track record of success.
    • Experience implementing digital fundraising campaigns across channels, including A/B email testing.
    • Experience with eCRMs and email marketing platforms, such as HubSpot or Engaging Networks.
    • Strong organizational skills, able to prioritize workload and multi-task.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
    • Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff.
    • Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
    • Strong oral and written communications skills.
    • Collaborative work style to effectively work within cross functional teams to deliver high-quality digital communications on schedule.
    • Passion for communication as a means to fight the injustice of poverty.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of and experience with communicating social justice issues for awareness-building, advocacy, and/or fundraising.

    Additional Information

    Exempt Boston Union E - Salary Range - - $62-68K
