Responsibilities: • Follow all manufacturer specifications for vehicle system repairs to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and facilitate returning business • Perform routine maintenance, as needed, like checking fluid levels, rotating tires, and oil changes • Determine and investigate any malfunction codes in the vehicle’s integrated diagnostic system using skilled expertise and diagnostic tools • Follow a checklist-based approach to comprehensively examine all vehicle systems, such as the engine, transmission, air conditioning, and brake systems • Establish processes for tracking diagnostics and system repairs, maintaining up-to-date manufacturer specifications, and more Qualifications: • Automotive service technology training program completion or equivalent years of experience is required; associates degree is a bonus • Strong customer service and communications skills are needed • ASE certification or comparable standard service technician credential, such as SAE, is attractive • High school diploma or GED is required • Experience and background will dictate the hourly wage level. Compensation: $25 - $35 hourly
