The Role You Will Play
Reporting to the Chief Actuary, the Actuary, P&C will be responsible for a wide spectrum of work including rate filings, solvency work, reinsurance contracts and even emerging technologies.
This role will review insurance company financial statements and rate filings, including adequacy, consistency, and transparency of key assumptions and methodologies.
The Actuary, P&C will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to investigate and review pricing and insurance methodologies, provide insights, and recommend changes to regulatory leaders.
This role will contribute to the setting of standards and models for best practices relating to rating, solvency, and planning processes, tools, monitors, and implementations.
In this role you will be empowered to impact the insurance industry in a meaningful way, staying advised of industry trends, and keeping current on new techniques.

Background Profile
5+ years of actuarial experience within the P&C space
Expertise with financial statement reserves and Statement of Actuarial Opinion as well as actuarial structure of Property & Casualty
Working knowledge of insurance company operations
Familiarity with various business software applications
Bachelor’s degree and Credentialed by either SOA: ASA/FSA or CAS: ACAS/FCAS
