    Job Description

    PACWEST IS ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR AN ADMIN ASSISTANT / DISPATCH POSITION FOR OUR LOS ANGELES BRANCH OFFICE. THIS IS A FULL TIME MONDAY THRU FRIDAY- 8 AM TO 5 PM POSITION. CUSTOMER SERVICE, FOLLOW THRU AND DETAIL AND TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS IS A MUST. WE HAVE WEEKLY PAYROLL AND OFFER BENEFITS. JOB PURPOSE:

    Provide administrative and clerical support to the branch office. Assist with internal and external employees and customers. Provide support with processing, scheduling, record keeping, data base maintenance, time and attendance keeping, scheduling and tracking.

    DUTIES:

    • Assist and support with new hire / on-boarding process, from orientation to tracking
    • Helps with new-hire onboarding procedures, preparing new employee paperwork and ensuring all necessary paperwork is properly filled out and completed
    • Compile, organize, update, and audit company personnel records and documentation as needed for record completion and compliance
    • Maintain filing system, contact database, employee list, and inventories
    • Initiates telecommunications by answering, screening, and directing incoming calls
    • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the phone; answering or referring inquiries* Forwards information by receiving and distributing communications; collecting and mailing correspondence, copying information
    • Creates and Revises record-keeping systems, forms and implements changes
    • Coordinate company trainings and distribute accompanying notices and acknowledgements
    • Maintains security by following procedures' monitoring log books
    • Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting on communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related work tasks as needed
    • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
    • Act as an ambassador to the clients, management and PACWEST

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent

    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems

    • Detail oriented, self-motivated individual with the ability to multi task projects

    • Team worker

    • Must possess a professional attitude

    • Strong administrative writing skills, Professionalism

    • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

    • Able to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision

    • Work effectively under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
