We are looking for an Office Assistant to organize and coordinate administration duties and office procedures. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication, and safety.
Office Assistant responsibilities include:
Answer phones and greet clients/customers
Serve as the point person for office including maintenance, mailing, supplies, equipment and errands
Verify that patients are accurately prepared for visits, including verifying insurance, and referrals
Manage office supply inventory
Maintain a clean office layout, order stationery and equipment
Notify necessary repairs
Provide a positive office experience to clients and visitors
Address employee's queries regarding office issues (e.g. stationery, Hardware, etc.)
Make outbound calls to members offering program resources.
SKILLS
Experience with insurance verification
Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
Hands-on experience with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers)
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
