Job Description: We are particularly interested in candidates with experience or knowledge in Project-Based Learning (PBL), a method that emphasizes hands-on, student-centered learning and real-world problem-solving for our 2nd grade to Fifth grade-Elementary School children. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of child development, a commitment to educational excellence, and the ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons in core subjects such as math, reading, writing, science, and social studies.

Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and respected.

Assess student progress regularly and use data to inform instruction and provide feedback to students and parents.

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student learning and development.

Implement classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior and ensure a safe learning environment.

Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in education.

Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support student success.

Qualifications:

Degree in Elementary Education or a related field.

State teaching certification for elementary education preferred.

Experience teaching in an elementary school setting is preferred.

Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching strategies.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in students.

Fluency in written and spoken English
