Job Description: The Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) is seeking a PC LAN Technician to provide hands-on IT support across the Globe/Safford area, with additional travel to Tucson. This onsite role supports desktops, servers, and network systems, ensuring functionality, security, and compliance with agency standards. Technicians act as the face of ADOT’s Information Technology Group (ITG), delivering outstanding customer service while troubleshooting and resolving IT issues.

Key Responsibilities:

· Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network peripherals

· Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, server, and network issues

· Perform warranty and non-warranty repairs

· Assist in system deployments, upgrades, and preventive maintenance

· Train end-users and junior technicians on hardware/software use and troubleshooting

· Maintain technical documentation and implement security updates

· Travel daily between work sites using a personal vehicle

Requirements:

· 4+ years of IT support experience

· Strong customer service and communication skills

· Experience with Windows OS, Active Directory, DHCP, and SCCM

· Knowledge of network topology, server infrastructure, and backup solutions

· Valid AZ Driver’s License with clean driving record

· Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
