Job Summary
A Caregiver for Elders provides essential care and support to elderly clients in their homes. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring a safe and clean living environment, and promoting the overall well-being and independence of the elderly clients.
Schedules
Saturday and Sunday 12 pm - 8 pm
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene if necessary
Provide medication reminders and ensure timely administration as prescribed.
Household Tasks:
Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing.
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
Run errands, including grocery shopping and picking up prescriptions.
Companionship:
Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental stimulation.
Accompany clients to appointments
Provide emotional support and build trusting relationships with clients
Safety and Monitoring:
Monitor clients' health and report any changes in condition
Ensure a safe living environment by identifying and addressing potential hazards.
Follow care plans and guidelines provided
Documentation and Communication:
Maintain accurate records of care provided, including daily logs and reports.
Communicate effectively
Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on best practices and care techniques.

Assist with organizing and planning activities that promote physical and mental well-being
Adapt to the changing needs of clients and provide flexible, personalized care.
