    Position Type: Part-time

    Job Overview: We are seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to join our non-medical home care team. As a PCA, you will assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) to help improve their quality of life while promoting independence and dignity. You will provide personal care services in the comfort of the client’s home, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and supported.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Assist clients with personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting).

    Help with mobility and transfers, including getting in and out of bed or chairs.

    Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring clients receive proper nutrition.

    Provide companionship and engage in meaningful conversation and activities.

    Assist clients with light housekeeping tasks (laundry, light cleaning, organizing).

    Help with medication reminders and ensure clients follow prescribed schedules.

    Monitor client’s condition, reporting any changes or concerns to supervisors or family members.

    Provide transportation for errands, appointments, and social activities as needed.

    Maintain accurate records of services provided, including daily logs and time sheets.

    Adhere to all agency policies, procedures, and regulations.

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent.

    Previous experience in caregiving or as a Personal Care Aide preferred, but not required.

    Ability to follow instructions and provide excellent care in a respectful and empathetic manner.

    Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients and their families.

    Ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting and assisting clients with mobility.

    CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

    Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license (if applicable).

    Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
