    FIRE & WATER OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    PDQ Restoration is a dominant leader in the fire & water mitigation industry in Northern NJ.  Our team is seeking a hardworking, cheerful and caring individual to fill the role of Operations Coordinator on our leadership team. 

    PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • As an important member of our leadership team, a successful candidate should be able to confidently lead and manage the daily operations for our fire and water production teams.
    • Facilitate in person morning meetings with personnel before deployment.
    • Dispatch Foreman/Technicians to jobsite as needed.
    • Assign new projects to Foreman and track progress ensuring quality control to customers.
    • Visit jobsite on an as needed basis to ensure quality control.
    • Exceed company targets for client/customer satisfaction.
    • Maintain production capacity through adequate staffing, equipment and supply management.
    • Oversees production documentation/communication.
    • Communication with customer and insurance company to ensure a smooth transaction.
    • Review all documentation and photographs for completeness and accuracy.
    • Responsible for production staffing – assessing, hiring and firing in accordance to PDQ Restoration’s core values.
    • Follow company SOPs as written.
    • Answer incoming calls as needed. 
    • Any additional duties as required.

    WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:

    • Reports directly to COO
    • Oversees Foremen, Crew Chiefs, Technicians and Subcontractors.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Effective written and oral communication
    • Computer skills: Intermediate to advanced proficiency in the use of computers and computer software, especially MS office, Word and Excel
    • Knowledge of Fire, Water and Mold Remediation is helpful
    • Prior leadership and management skills is necessary

     

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    • This position is to be carried out in an office environment. Daily exposure to the field and shop where vehicles and equipment are housed and maintained is required.
    • Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.

    JOB TYPE: Full-time = core hours are 8am to 5pm; Mon through Fri.  After hours as needed. 

    PAY: From $65,000.00 per year
