Our client, an energy savings and efficiency company is seeking an experienced PE Licensed Energy Efficiency Engineer to join their team as a compliance department manager, overseeing their LL97 compliance projects in NYC.

The successful candidate will lead a team of energy efficiency professionals, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of projects. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and leadership acumen.

Responsibilities:

Technical Responsibilities:

• Conduct energy audits and analyze building energy data to identify energy efficiency opportunities
• Develop and implement energy efficiency plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and ensure LL97 compliance
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to implement energy efficiency measures
• Stay up-to-date with LL97 regulations and NYC building codes

Team Management Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of energy efficiency professionals, providing guidance and mentorship
• Oversee project development, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
• Coordinate and prioritize tasks, allocating resources to meet project demands
• Foster a collaborative and dynamic team environment, promoting professional growth and development
• Conduct performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and coaching

Requirements:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of New York
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in energy efficiency, building systems, or a related field
• Proven experience in team management, project management, and leadership
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
