At The Anchored School, we prioritize the physical and emotional well-being of our students. We are seeking an enthusiastic part-time Physical Education Teacher to inspire our kindergarten and elementary students through engaging sports and fitness activities.

Position Overview: The part-time PE Teacher will develop and implement fun, age-appropriate physical education programs that promote teamwork, fitness, and a love for movement. This role requires creativity, energy, and a genuine passion for working with young children.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver interactive PE lessons for kindergarten and elementary students.

Teach fundamental motor skills, sportsmanship, and the importance of physical activity.

Organize games and sports activities that are inclusive and enjoyable for all skill levels.

Assess student progress and provide positive feedback to encourage participation and growth.

Create a safe and supportive environment for physical activity.

Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote overall health and wellness initiatives.

Qualifications:

Some degree in Physical Education, Child Development, or a related field (preferred).

Experience working with young children in a teaching or coaching role.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to engage and motivate students in physical activities.

Knowledge of safety protocols and first aid.
