SR. SOFTWARE ENGINEER (C++)  SAN DIEGO, CA 97217  12 MONTHS (POSSIBLE EXTENSION)

As a Software Development Engineer in the team, you will design highly scalable systems, develop distributed services, collaborate with product managers, architects, engineers and build solid payment platform solutions. We are a fast-paced environment, using lightweight micro services design pattern. We encourage innovation and expect developers to take a high level of ownership throughout the software life cycle.

HIGHLY REQUIRED SKILLS;

• Mixed of Java and C++
• Able to jump in and help out with C++
• Strong C++ Senior level engineer, able to step in and help out with the current C++ engineers
• Go through legacy codes and dive in to make modification
• Manager is okay if He/she ends up with only C++ Engineer and no JAVA since hiring manager bringing in 2 more engineers with JAVA
• Splunk is highly preferred
• AWS is important and must have
• eCommerce experience is preferred
• Window based candidates are okay, but nice to have Linux/Unix because they do deployment from there
• Codility test (prescreen) and then a coding test during interview (how would you approach this problem/white board)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Experience developing C++ enterprise applications.
• 5+ years of experience in developing business critical software using, Web Services, REST, JSON/XML, expert level of object oriented programming analysis and design
• Experience developing applications on Unix/Linux platforms
• Experience developing web services using JSON and XML
• Proficient in software development process, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
