    TPC Scottsdale is currently seeking a PART-TIME GOLF SHOP COORDINATOR for our Golf Shop Operation.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Assist PGA TOUR players, Members and Guests with their golfing needs, ensuring that every step of their golf experience at the club runs as smoothly and is as enjoyable as possible. 
    • Greet and welcome Members and Guests.
    • Answer telephones to schedule future starting times.
    • Handle and count cash, make accurate change, record credit cards, gift certificates and Member charges described by standard operating procedures.  Collect green fees, car fees, and other incomes. 
    • Assist with the daily cleaning of the golf shop to ensure continued cleanliness and appearance of the Golf Shop, storage areas, and merchandise displays. 
    • Ensure that displays are kept at par stock inventory levels at all times and that the appearance meets or exceeds PGA TOUR Golf Course Properties, Inc. standards.
    • Professionally communicate information, sell merchandise, and become fully knowledgeable in all products and sales techniques.  Anticipate the needs of Members and uests and offer appropriate merchandise alternatives.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:

    • Associate's degree or equivalent preferred
    • 2+ years merchandising experience in a high end retail establishment
    • Prior customer service experience
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    • Pursuing a Bachelor or Master Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Design Engineering, or other mechanical or manufacturing related field
    • Must be on track to graduate with a degree in the next 1 to 2 years

    ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

    • Strong computer skills, with an emphasis on MS Office is preferred
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Lean or Toyota Production Systems training preferred
    • Ability to work independently and take direction from others
    • Coursework with CAD/Drafting and/or programing is a plus
    • Candidate must be able to lift 25 lbs.
