Position Overview: Responsible for the setup and maintenance of all electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on equipment used in the production process. Collaborates with the Engineering Group to monitor and improve processes for output and waste levels. Takes ownership of process performance and provides leadership in addressing any performance issues.

Essential Functions:
Provide support to set up and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on production equipment, including the maintenance of all electrical systems.
Perform preventive maintenance on designated production equipment as specified in the PM Program to ensure smooth operation.
Assist Engineering with the installation, debugging, and startup of production equipment.
Maintain equipment logs, documenting downtime, maintenance issues, and process changes.
Responsible for mixing silicone/solvent-based formulation used for needle lubrication. Uses a viscometer to ensure solids percentage remains within acceptable parameters.
Support Engineering in maintaining and adjusting vision systems within defined parameters.
Ensure all safety, environmental procedures, and Quality System Requirements (QSR) are maintained.
Provide Production Supervisors with relevant equipment and process performance information, including production and waste data.
Lead and guide other associates in repairing production equipment.
Coordinate and support other maintenance activities as needed.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum of 4 years of experience in an electronic manufacturing environment
Minimum of 4 years of experience working with automation control software
Associate’s degree in Mechatronics preferred
Experience in the medical device industry is preferred
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Strong understanding of basic mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic principles
Ability to interpret schematic drawings and technical specifications
Proficiency in logging into PLCs and diagnosing ladder logic for troubleshooting (Allen Bradley PLCs preferred)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently, under pressure, and meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
