    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Business Development Specialist - Gulf Coast, to join our team! You will responsible for activities for business development for the offices in Lafayette, Baton Rouge, Biloxi, Orange Beach and New Orleans. Weekly reporting and participating in brainstorming sessions to increase productivity and sales, and developing new sales strategies and opportunities for the team. The ideal candidate has an extensive background in both management and sales, excellent communication skills, and strong problem-solving skills.

    Responsibilities

    Monitor the day-to-day activities of the sales team

    Provide guidance and help with difficult sales situations

    Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new leads, sales initiatives, and sales opportunities

    Conduct performance reviews and disciplinary actions, as needed

    Interview, hire, and train new staff members

    Work closely with multiple departments and maintain strong relationships and lines of communication

    Qualifications

    Extensive sales and management experience desired

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills

    The ability to multitask and shift priorities as needed

    Demonstrated ability to lead a team to success

    Experience using basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite

    This is a Commission only position. Great for someone who may also be in Real Estate and looking for opportunities to make more money. Real estate experience is not required. Looking for sales leaders that can work independently with little to no supervision.
