JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct legal research and analysis on a variety of legal issues. Draft legal documents, including briefs, memoranda, and pleadings. (Our practice is mostly employment class actions representing employees). Assist with discovery and document production. Organize and maintain case files and documents. Assist attorneys with trial preparation and court appearances Communicate with clients and other parties involved in legal matters. Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the attorneys.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our legal team as a Post Bar Law Clerk with potential to be hired as an Associate Attorney upon successfully passing the Bar. The Post Bar Law Clerk will be responsible for legal research, drafting complaints, propound regarding discovery, and other legal-related tasks. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as a strong work ethic.

We were also counsel in Gilberg v. California Check Cashing, Inc. (2019) 913 F.3d 1169, a seminal case interpreting the FCRA.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
Law school graduate
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research databases
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
