Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, calibrate, and adjust flow meters, temperature controllers, level sensors, and pressure sensors
- Set up ABB Chart Recorder parameters and perform tuning
- Work from technical wiring diagrams or P&IDs for new or current Instrument Installations
- Perform general maintenance and updates on Instrumentation
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards for safe equipment operation
- Preferably experienced in wiring Allen Bradley and programming PLC I/O connections
- Knowledgeable and able to operate SCADA systems
- Collaborate with teams for troubleshooting and solutions
- Work within production schedules to meet project deadlines and maintain calibration records
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Automation, Software, or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience required; alternatively, equivalent experience working as an Instrument Engineer with a understanding of Allen Bradley PLC’s and GE Proficy is preferred
- Three (3) years experience in installing, programming, operating, and testing Allen Bradley PLC’s required; similar experience with GE Proficy and purchasing these systems is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
