JOB PURPOSE:
Drive international brand presence by leading translation of global brand strategy into local markets, working with local partners to develop robust go-to-market strategies, productive product assortments, and effective marketing plans and implementation of all such plans
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Achieve global sales goals through leadership of all global brand marketing efforts
- Acts as the primary point person on behalf of brand marketing to key international cross-functional stakeholders.
- Represents international brand marketing needs and leads cross functional coordination of resources to provide support
- Recognizes and activates business development opportunities and growth potential for PPI Brands across international markets
- Helps to ideate and implement localized marketing campaigns and activations to drive brand agenda.
- Advises international commercial teams on product positioning, portfolio management, and pricing.
- Supports all unique New Product Development and Exclusive promotional activity in collaboration with the Innovation team to conceptualize and commercialize launches
- Boosts brand presence through action-oriented insights derived from deep level understanding of local market dynamics, trends and competition
- Continuously builds a thorough knowledge of global consumer insights, category and business trends, and competitive landscape
- Closely monitors brand and product level performance across major international markets and key retailers to identify risk & opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 6+ years of proven success in global marketing and/or brand management
- Preferred Experience developing and/or overseeing marketing plans for the China market and other developing markets
- Demonstrated success as global brand lead working with local teams to execute brand plans
- Keen understanding of overarching global marketing and financial fundamentals paired with willingness to execute against detail-oriented tasks
- Strong experience in brand strategy, consumer & customer insights, budget management and P&L exposure
- Ability to lead and partner with international cross-functional teams
- Ability to work outside of standard office hours as needed by local market schedules
- Ability to accommodate international travel as needed
- Preferred multi-lingual in one or more of the following languages - Mandarin/Spanish/Arabic /German/Portuguese
- Beauty and/or personal care experience preferred
