    Job Description

    Prevot & Associates is a bustling Commercial Insurance brokerage located in beautiful Los Gatos* with an immediate opening for a fantastic team member! This can be a full or part time position as a Group Health Benefits Agent - INSURANCE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

    *Our team is currently working remotely, anticipating being back in the office on a hybrid schedule in the next few months. You would start out working remotely.

    • OUR TEAM IS CURRENTLY WORKING REMOTELY, WE ARE EXPLORING HYBRID HOME/OFFICE SCHEDULES ONCE WE RETURN TO THE OFFICE.

    YOUR DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

    • Promptly & accurately communicating with clients and fellow team members – we believe in delivering fast, five-star service to our clients!
    • Adds/terms/changes
    • Service & billing issues
    • Renewal review & presenting
    • Quoting & supporting Renewal & New Business Accounts
    • Being a point of contact to answer client inquiries (coverage Q's, enrollment inquiries, adds/terms/changes, etc.)
    • Contact carriers when info or clarifications are needed
    • Open enrollment
    • Maintain some excel docs for clients (add/term logs, master employee benefit list, payroll deductions)

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Small business group health benefits experience & license; P&C experience a plus
    • Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for time management
    • Excellent customer service skills and ability to easily establish rapport with people
    • Solid computer, grammar, organizational and multi-tasking skills
    • Are proactive & work well with people in a small environment
    • Can prioritize, triage, and manage multiple tasks efficiently & accurately
