Synergy Medical Services is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for Escambia County/Santa Rosa County to join our team. Be a part of a team that is well-versed in providing patients with the tools they need to live their happiest, healthiest lives.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for treating patients with therapeutic and self-care activities

Encouraging the patient during their recovery process

Helping patients to improve their quality of life by finding solutions to their problems

Helping injured patients improve their motor skills with the goal of re-entering the workforce

Teaching patients with disabilities to become more independent

Teaching patients, family members or other caregivers skills and techniques to help with the patients’ treatment program

Qualifications:

Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine

Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work

Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Results-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Tech-savvy with the ability to learn quickly

Occupational Therapy Assistant License

Current State Licensure

Home Health experience a plus

Salary Range: $45-55 per visit
