    JOB TITLE: Pricing Analyst

    SUPERVISOR’S TITLE: Controller

    General Summary: The Pricing Analyst is responsible for developing tactical and strategic pricing initiatives to maximize sales revenue.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    Provides analysis of revenue, market share, capacity, and competitor activity to develop optimal pricing for geographies and market segments aligned with sales strategy.

    Ensures prices and programs comply with the company pricing strategy and regularly monitors profitability and key drivers to improve results.

    Utilizes company software to establish list prices, costs and margins for products.

    Analyzes data from multiple sources, develops complex pricing models and collaborates with sales team to develop sales strategies.

    Monitors competitive rate activity and executes appropriate response based on market performance, quality of goods and company objectives.

    Maintains awareness of internal and external factors that influence demand and uses these to form pricing decisions.

    Acts as a pricing point-of-contact for other departments for basic pricing inquiries.

    Maintains price lists to ensure they are reflective of current pricing structure.

    Analyzes strategies to base regional pricing structure.

    Compiles reports of accurate pricing information responsive to market changes.

    Monitors the effectiveness of pricing strategies, programs, and tactics.

    Updates and maintains documentation of the processes and policies of the pricing department.

    Develops reporting and pricing tools for sales team to better communicate pricing issues to the customer.

    Other related duties as assigned.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    Strong communication, problem solving, and decision-making skills.

    Ability to build strong collaborative business relationships.

    Strong analytical thinking skills to derive insight from data to formulate solutions.

    Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related programs.

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment for a company experiencing significant growth.

    Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related field required. Experience in Egg or other Commodity Industry preferred.

    Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 10-15 lbs. Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.

    Working Conditions: Standard office setting.
