  • Responsibilities

    Entry-level certified class in the Plant Operator/System Operations series. This position is distinguished from the Plant Operator I by the performance of the more routine tasks and duties assigned to positions within the series including the update of operations logs and adding and mixing of treatment chemicals under the supervision of higher-level operators. Candidates will be working toward the Operator I certification, may have limited knowledge of plant operations. Advancement to the Plant Operator I level is based on meeting minimum state and federal qualifications and satisfactory job performance. This is a full-time, non-exempt position paid on an hourly basis.

    Your Contribution

    • Desire to pursue Operator I certification
    • This is an in-training position and requires supervision on tasks related to compliance reporting and analysis.

    Your Qualifications

    • Experience in water and wastewater treatment is preferred but not required.
