    Job Description

    Are you a licensed and experienced leader with a strong understanding of housing programs, healthcare coordination, and community-based services? MBI Health Services, LLC is seeking a Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) Administrator to manage and lead our PSH program. This role supports a staff of approximately 70 professionals across 10 teams and serves as a key liaison with the Department of Human Services (DHS).

    The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, compassionate leader with a proven track record in housing program oversight, Medicaid billing, staff supervision, and compliance management. You will work closely with the Program Manager, Director of Community Programs, and external partners to ensure timely housing placements, coordinated health services, and accurate reporting of outcomes.

    Responsibilities

    • Supervise and support a team of approximately 70 staff across 10 housing teams. Foster a high-performing, collaborative, and accountable work environment aligned with program goals and expectations. Provide coaching and oversight to support daily operations.
    • Ensure the timely and accurate submission of housing applications and related documents (e.g., HAP applications, lease agreements), with the goal of housing clients within 60 days of application submission. Track progress and report outcomes.
    • Collaborate with mental health and physical health professionals to ensure clients receive appropriate services before and after housing placement. Address service gaps and coordinate care for long-term housing stability.
    • Monitor and ensure adherence to HAC contract deliverables and all local, state, and federal housing regulations. Conduct regular audits to assess program effectiveness and compliance with service standards and deadlines.
    • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with community health organizations, government agencies, and other housing service providers to improve housing outcomes and ensure a holistic approach to client care.
    • Work closely with the billing department to achieve a 90% or higher monthly Medicaid billing rate. Develop and manage tracking systems for real-time Navigation and Stabilization visit data, in alignment with Medicaid and Medicare requirements.
    • In collaboration with PSHP administrative staff, maintain and enhance electronic records for all participants using Credible. Ensure accurate reporting of housing placements, service coordination, and application statuses.
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on housing placement outcomes, application statuses, service coordination, and overall program performance. Communicate progress and potential challenges to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
    • Coordinate with MBI Human Resources to monitor staff clearances and training requirements. Ensure timely renewals and submission into HTH and other relevant systems.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain written policies and procedures for the PSH program. Ensure that operational practices support client-centered care, safety, and long-term stability.
    • Assist with managing program resources and budget planning to ensure effective and efficient use of funds in support of operational and programmatic goals.
    • Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure their needs are met in housing and supportive services. Support a model of care that is inclusive, trauma-informed, and equity-focused.
    • Oversee the training and development of housing staff to ensure they are equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide high-quality services. Support ongoing professional development and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) required
    • Master’s degree in a business-related, healthcare, or social services field
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in housing program oversight, preferably within homelessness services, housing-first programs, or public housing
    • Proven experience managing large teams (50+ staff) across multiple units
    • Advanced skills in data tracking, data reporting, and compliance monitoring
    • Experience with Medicaid billing (preferred)
    • Experience in staff training, coaching, and performance management
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure and within budget constraints
    • Strong knowledge of housing systems and how they intersect with mental and physical health services
    • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
    • Strong collaboration and team leadership skills, with the ability to work independently when needed
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic record systems (e.g., Credible)
    • Deep commitment to client-centered care, social justice, and equity in housing access
