    SUMMARY -Lititz Christian School is seeking a Part-Time Morning Kindergarten Teacher to join our team. This individual will be responsible for fostering a nurturing and engaging environment where young learners can develop academically, socially, and spiritually. This position is part-time, with an emphasis on creating a Christ-centered, positive classroom culture that aligns with our school’s mission to educate students from a biblical worldview.

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    ● Develop and implement age-appropriate, biblically integrated lesson plans that support the academic, social, and spiritual growth of kindergarten students.

    ● Teach foundational subjects, including literacy, numeracy, and science, with creativity and enthusiasm.

    ● Establish a warm and supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, respect, and a love for learning.

    ● Assess and document student progress regularly, tailoring instruction to meet individual learning needs.

    ● Maintain open, consistent communication with parents to keep them informed of their child’s progress and development.

    ● Collaborate with the full-time kindergarten teacher, kindergarten assistants and other faculty to ensure a cohesive, well-rounded approach to student learning and development.

    ● Uphold and model Christian values in interactions with students, parents, and staff, demonstrating a commitment to the school’s mission.

    Qualifications: ● Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field. ● Experience working with young children in a classroom setting, preferably in a Christian environment. ● A passion for Christian education and a strong commitment to integrating faith with learning. ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. ● Strong classroom management skills, with an ability to maintain a structured and loving environment for young learners. ● Knowledge of child development and best practices in early childhood education.
