FUTURE ADVISER ACADEMY
PACIFIC CAPITAL'S EXTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Created for university students, Pacific Capital's Future Adviser Academy gives students an opportunity unlike any other. Through this virtual program, you learn the skills it takes to launch a successful career in the lucrative financial advising industry.
Your externship is managed by an Associate Vice President, also a practicing financial adviser, whose responsibility is to ensure you receive the education to help you succeed in the Future Adviser Academy.
You are placed on a team of your peers and guided through the program by a successful, seasoned financial adviser at Pacific Capital. You will assist the adviser with financial analysis, client relations, and marketing as well as learning the integral role of back-office duties and the procedures which ensure a smooth-running practice.
Through training in sales, education in financial products and services, and practice management, you will be well on your way to a successful future, whether or not you wish to look towards Pacific Capital for your new career.

After successful completion of Pacific Capital's Future Adviser Academy, interns will have learned what it takes to run a world-class financial advising practice. After graduation, many participants will be considered for employment and the launching of their own practice at Pacific Capital.
